Olivia Dunne alleges she’s been ‘shadow banned’ by TikTok as views plummet
Olivia Dunne believes her engagement on TikTok has been unilaterally throttled.
The LSU gymnast and omnipresent social media sensation noticed that her engagement was languishing on TikTok, and commented on one of her own videos, “Why am I shadow banned.”
As OutKick pointed out, her viewership stats are starkly down in recent weeks, with each of her last four videos failing to garner a million views, which was previously about the least a post would draw.
It’s unclear whether Dunne, 21, has been specifically targeted by the social media platform or if she was merely the victim of some broader algorithmic change.
Earlier this year, there was a snafu in which Dunne’s TikTok account mysteriously disappeared for a brief period, along with other bizarre activity.

The past few years, juggling NIL or ever since my sophomore year, since the summer of 2021, Ive definitely had a hard time finding balance, Dunne said in the interview.
