Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is sure to intensify the already fierce rivalry between the Wolverines and Ohio State after he told reporters that Michigan had to “make it an even playing field with Ohio State after the Buckeyes allegedly stole their signs.

Michigan, of course, has been embroiled in one of college footballs biggest scandals this season after it was alleged that staffer Connor Stalions organized an intricate sign-stealing and in-person scouting scheme.
Though sign stealing isnt against NCAA policy, advanced in-person scouting is against the rules.
The scandal resulted in Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh being suspended for three games by the Big Ten and Stalions resigning.
The NCAA is still investigating Michigan over the scandal, and that has left the possibility of more disciplinary action, including wins being vacated.
McCarthy said it would be very unfortunate just to not get recognized for all the hard work we’ve put in.
