Pierre Engvall becomes latest Islanders injury concern

Pierre Engvall was out of the lineup for Tuesdays 4-2 Islanders loss to the Jets with an upper-body injury and declared day-to-day by the team.
Engvall joins Ryan Pulock, Semyon Varlamov, Casey Cizikas and Robert Bortuzzo on a shelf that has been occupied by a rotating cast since opening night.
Without him, and in the wake of Mondays disastrous 5-0 loss to the Wild, Isles coach Lane Lambert shook up the lineup against the Jets.
Bo Horvat and Mat Barzal were re-separated with Oliver Wahlstrom back on the right side of Horvat.
Barzal skated between Simon Holmstrom and Cal Clutterbuck on the third line while Hudson Fasching was moved up to the second line with Brock Nelson and Kyle Palmieri.

The prognosis on Engvall, who skated 14:54 on Monday night, amounted to a shoulder shrug.
