Adam Pelech day-to-day after taking illegal elbow from Canadiens’ Brendan Gallagher
The All-Star break is coming at a good time for the Islanders to get healthy, but Adam Pelech will indeed miss time with a presumed head injury after being on the wrong end of Brendan Gallaghers illegal elbow Thursday night.
Islanders coach Patrick Roy called Pelech day-to-day with an upper-body injury prior to Saturdays 3-2 loss to the Panthers.
Hudson Fasching, who left the loss to the Canadiens in the second period, was also designated day-to-day with a lower-body injury.
