Is there a grade worse than F?
The offense was abysmal. It started up front with an offensive line that could not slow the Dolphins pass rush down. Miami sacked Jets quarterbacks six times, knocking starterZach Wilson(4 of 11, 26 yards, 44.9 QB rating, 1 fumble) out of the game with a concussion.
The Jets managed just 103 total yards, tied for the fourth-lowest total in franchise history.
The 23 yards rushing is the lowest total since 2005. Dolphins edge rusher Bradley Chubb had three sacks and was in Wilsons face constantly in the first half.

The Dolphins were without star Tyreek Hill and we can only imagine how ugly it would have been if he played.
Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa (21 of 24, 224 yards, 1 TD, 119.4 rating) completed his first 13 passes and looked completely comfortable for most of the day. WR Jaylen Waddle (8 catches, 142 yards, 1 TD) had a 60-yard touchdown and several other big catches in Hills absence.

This was a pretty quiet game for this unit.Greg Zuerleindid not attempt any field goals.Thomas Morsteadwas punting from his own territory for most of the day. The one play when the Jets tried something on special teams was a fake punt early in the game that failed whenAshtyn Davisgot stuffed.

There is no defending the coaches after this one. The Jets looked completely unprepared and got their butts kicked from beginning to end.
Robert Salehs team looked outcoached from the start. They did nothing to getGarrett Wilsonopen and watched as Mike McDaniel continually schemed Waddle open.Nathaniel Hacketthad no answers.
EvenJeff Ulbrich, who has been the best coach on the Jets, was outsmarted by McDaniel.
