Marie Donoghue joining DraftKings after helping bring NFL to Amazon Prime Video
One of the highest-ranking women behind the scenes in sports media has a new role.
Marie Donoghue is joining DraftKings as Chief Business & Growth Officer, The Post has learned.

As The Posts Andrew Marchand first reported, Donoghue left her post as Amazon’s VP of U.S. Sports Content & Partnerships earlier this month after a stretch in which she was instrumental in spearheading the acquisition and launch of Thursday Night Football on the retail behemoths Prime Video streaming service.

At ESPN, she was in the inner circle of former president John Skipper, who co-founded Meadowlark Media with former ESPN talent Dan Le Batard.
Le Batards show in specific and Meadowlark in general have been a key component of DraftKings media partnerships.
On Wednesday, Sportico reported DraftKings and Barstool Sports were in advanced talks on a partnership agreement that would begin after the Super Bowl when Barstools noncompete with previous parent company PENN Entertainment expires.
DraftKings operates a mobile sportsbook in 26 states, daily fantasy sports in 44 states and iGaming (mobile casino games) in five states.
