Kansas City Chiefs heiress Gracie Hunt ripped for posing with Lombardi Trophy in tribute to Super Bowl parade shooting victims

Kansas City Chiefs fans are ripping team heiress Gracie Hunt after her tribute to the victims of Wednesday’s deadly Super Bowl parade shooting included photos of herself with the Lombardi Trophy.

The 25-year-old daughter of Chiefs owner Clark Hunt took to X after the mass shooting that left a mom of two dead and 22 others including nine children injured to post glamorous shots from the victory parade, including one of her proudly holding the gleaming trophy before the event descended into chaos.

“The most beautiful, perfect day of love, laughter, & celebration at the Chiefs Super Bowl parade turned upside down in an instant,” Hunt’s post began.

“Im still processing todays tragedy.”

“I love this city and Im angry at what took place and heartbroken for the victims, their families, & the KC community. This world is broken and thank God it is not our home.”

The 2021 Miss USA contestant said she was glad she had the “hope of heaven” and that “life is precious and each day is a gift.”

“Thank you to the first responders for your swift actions that saved more lives from being lost. Thank you to KCPD, Chiefs security, brave citizens, and everyone at Union Station who worked to manage the chaos and pandemonium,” Hunt continued.

“Kansas City hug those you love extra tightly tonight. We love you big this Valentines Day and always.”

Critics were quite to slam Hunt for posting boastful photos with her words.

“I feel like the selfies at the end of your statement are a weird flex but ok,” one user criticized.

“Nice words. Maybe skip the posting of the silly selfies and PR photos on this one?” user Gary Beckett wrote under her post.

A user named Derek Johnson mocked her by writing: “Anyway, here’s some pics of my fabulous outfit.”

Another wrote: “Nice words. I wouldve left the pics for another day & just posted the message but what do I know.”

However, not everyone minded the post, with many commenters saying her message was nice and that season tickets should be offered to the fans who tackled one of the suspected shooter.

Instead of running away, the man leaped on the suspected criminal and dragged him to the ground. Although the alleged gunman was able to get free, he was immediately tackled again by a second Chiefs fan.

Authorities have said the shooting started as a personal dispute that exploded into violence, Kansas City Police Chief Stacey Graves said at a press conference.

Two of the three suspects are minors and the subjects are “detained,” according to Graves.
