Olivia Dunne shines in new floor routine as LSU gymnastics falls just short
Olivia Dunne is out to make her senior season on LSU’s gymnastics team her “best one.”
The 21-year-old athlete and social media sensation earned a score of 9.850 in a floor routine Saturday at the Sprouts Farmers Market Collegiate Quad Meet in Salt Lake City, where LSU placed second overall with a score of 197.150.
The Tigers, in their second event of the year, fell to top-ranked Oklahoma, (197.900) but defeated No. 12 UCLA (197.100) and No. 2 Utah (196.975).

“… Our team knows the expectation and we have to be able to handle success as well as we handle adversity.”
Freshman Konnor McClain delivered an impressive performance Saturday, earning her first-ever perfect score of 10.00 on the bars.

In last week’s victory, Dunne earned a score of 9.875 in her season floor debut.
Dunne hyped up her senior season back in September when she shared pics from an LSU photoshoot.

“I know its coming to an end, so Im trying to take in every single last memory I can, but Im also excited to see what the future holds,” Dunne said.
Dunne and the Tigers will face Kentucky on Friday.
