Patrick Mahomes opens up about Taylor Swift ‘embracing’ wife Brittany: ‘Part of the team’
It’s safe to say Patrick Mahomes approves of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s whirlwind romance.
In a preview for an upcoming interview with “CBS Mornings,” the Chiefs quarterback explained “how cool” his teammate’s girlfriend is, and gushed over Swift’s friendship with his wife, Brittany Mahomes.
At first, I feel like everybody stayed away and just let Kelce do what he was doing,” Mahomes said when ex-NFLer turned “CBS Mornings” host Nate Burleson asked if the tight end addressed his relationship in the locker room.
“But then he started bringing Taylor around and you realized how cool a person she was.
For us teammates there were a couple of jokes in the beginning, but now its just shes part of Chiefs Kingdom now, shes part of the team,” Mahomes said of Swift.
“Its cool that shes embraced Brittanyand theyve built a friendship as well.”

Swift and Brittany were spotted hanging out on numerous occasions after the singer attended the Chiefs-Bears game at Arrowhead Stadium on Sept. 24.
