Georgia star Brock Bowers declares for 2024 NFL Draft with chance to go in top 10
Brock Bowers is declaring for the NFL Draft.
The Georgia tight end announced Tuesday night on social media that he intends to go pro following three seasons with the Bulldogs.
Bowers, who won two national titles with Georgia, is projected to be one of the top overall players in this years draft, with the expectation that he could go in the top half of the first round.
Words cannot describe how thankful I am for what these last 3 years has brought. It has been an unbelievable honor and privilege to play for this university. It has given me memories that will last a lifetime,Bowers wrote in his announcement on Instagram. First, Id like to thank my family for always being there to support me through my journey. Especially my mom and dad for making countless trips across the country.

APBowers, 21, has been a standout for Georgia since the moment he stepped on the field for the school in 2021, becoming the only player in college football history to twice win the John Mackey Award (2022 and 2023) as the nation’s top tight end.
In his three seasons, the tight end has recorded 175 receptions, 2,538 receiving yards and 26 receiving touchdowns while adding another five rushing touchdowns.
The 2022 first-team All-American holds a top-five spot in school history for receiving yards, receptions and receiving touchdowns.
He recorded 714 receiving yards on 56 receptions as a junior.
Bowers also had touchdown catches in both national championship games for the Bulldogs (2021 and 2022), and the team had a 38-2 record in games that he played in.

The draft begins on April 25 in Detroit.
