NFL conference championship DFS picks on Prizepicks:Justin Tucker, Brock Purdy
Another perfect week on PrizePicks is in the books our fourth four-for-four of the NFL season and now its onto the conference championship games.
With the divisional round in the rearview mirror, we only have two more NFL slates remaining Sundays conference title games and Super Bowl LVIII.
Regardless of how this Sundays games play out, we should see a great matchup for the big game in two weeks.
Here are my four favorite selections on PrizePicks for the AFC and NFC Championship games:
Ravens vs. Chiefs DFS picks
Gus Edwards more than 41.5 rushing yards
There has been a lot of talk this week about how Justice Hill has taken over as the lead back in the Ravens offense, but I think his increased playing time had more to do with last weeks matchup with Houston than anything else.
The Texans are a clear pass-funnel defense, and Hill is the best pass-catching back on the roster. Even in a tough matchup, Edwards still had 10 carries for 42 yards last week.
Gus Edwards #35 of the Baltimore Ravens. Getty ImagesHe now gets to face the Chiefs, who own a clear run-funnel defense. Kansas City is fifth in DVOA against the pss and 27th in DVOA against the run.
I could see more of a 50/50 split between Edwards and Hill in this game. I could also see the Ravens opting to run the ball a lot more often than they did against the Texans.
Justin Tucker more than 8.5 fantasy score
Tucker has been a regular pick for me on PrizePicks this season. He came through for us last week with two made field goals, and we are going right back to the well.
Hes one of the best kickers of all time and plays for one of the best offenses in the NFL. Hes naturally going to have more opportunities than most kickers in the league.
The Ravens should be able to move the ball on the Chiefs, who have a good defense, especially in the red zone. We could see a number of drives stall out in scoring position, which would bode well for Tuckers field goal opportunities.
I prefer the fantasy score over the field goals projection, as there are two paths of getting there. He could kick multiple field goals or convert one from 50-plus yards and make four-plus extra points.
Lions vs. 49ers DFS picks
Jahmyr Gibbs more than 75.5 rushing + receiving yards
The Lions have a very good one-two punch in their backfield, but its clear Gibbs is the more explosive runner.
Gibbs trailed David Montgomery in snaps last week against Tampa Bay, but he narrowed that gap from the previous week. Given the importance of the game and the fact that the Lions could be trailing in this one, I expect to see even more Gibbs on Sunday.
Jahmyr Gibbs could have a big day against the 49ers. Getty ImagesI prefer taking the rushing + receiving projection, as that helps guard against the game script getting out of hand.
If the Lions are trailing, Gibbs might do most of his work through the air. If the Lions are playing with a lead, he might do most of his work on the ground.
Its a better matchup than you might expect, as the Niners have been much easier to run on this season.
On the same field last week, the Packers Aaron Jones ran for 108 yards and added eight more through the air.
Brock Purdy more than 1.5 passing touchdowns
This pick has the non-standard payout, which turns the Power Play from a 10x payout to a 7.5x payout.
I wanted to point that out for anyone that is unfamiliar with the new Demons and Goblins projections on PrizePicks.

As for this pick, Purdy has the best matchup of any quarterback Sunday. The Lions are extremely tough against the run (first in DVOA) and very beatable through the air (25th in EPA).
While Christian McCaffrey will still be a big part of the game plan, I like San Franciscos chances through the air in this one.
Purdy has thrown for multiple touchdowns in nine of 17 games this season and draws one of his best matchups to date.
