NBA MVP odds, prediction: Jalen Brunson entering race amid hot Knicks run
Jalen Brunsons incredible run has him knocking on the door of the NBA MVP conversation.
The newly minted All-Star was an afterthought in the race just a week ago, but now, as the Knicks look to extend their win streak to double-digits Saturday night, Brunson is right in the mix.

If they keep this pace, Brunson will have led the Knicks to just their second 50-win season since Patrick Ewing wore Orange and Blue in 1999-2000.
Brunson is averaging a career-high 27.1 points and 6.4 assists on 48.1 percent shooting.

His rise up the board comes as Joel Embiid, a favorite to win the award for the bulk of the season, has fallen offdue to a knee injury that has him at risk of the leagues new 65-game end-of-season award minimum.
The Knicks will take on LeBron James & Co. when they host the Lakers at Madison Square Garden at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday.
