Sportsbooks win big on Dallas flop: ‘Cowboys losing was the best result’

The aftermath of the Packers’ shocking win isn’t just bad news for Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and the rest of the Dallas brain trust — it was a complete disaster for bettors who hammered the favorite throughout the week.
“The Cowboys losing was the best result, Christia Cipollini, Trading Manager at BetMGM Sportsbook, told The Post.
Not including what was likely a massive parlay liability, BetMGM tells us that 70 percent of spread money was on the Cowboys -7, while 64 percent of the moneyline liability was also on Dallas.
Interestingly enough, BetMGM added that 34 percent of the moneyline bets were on the Cowboys but 64 percent of the money came in.
This data points to significant wagers being placed on the Cowboys.

Well, two of those came to fruition in the way of a blowout, as the Texans smashed Joe Flacco and the Cleveland Browns and the Packers made quick work of their old friend, Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy.
