NBA DFS picks: PrizePicks players to target in Wizards-Pacers, 76ers-Hawks
Its another loaded slate in the NBA Wednesday night with 12 games on tap.
There are a few intriguing games with monstrous point totals and injured superstar players. Lets jump in and find some winners from the PrizePicks lobby.
Bruce Brown (Pacers vs. Wizards) more than 11.5 points
Its no secret that there is less defense being played in the NBA every season, and Indiana and Washington are spearheading that movement.
Theres a massive 252.5 projected game total at FanDuel for Wednesday nights matchup between these teams, which means it could be a fantasy-scoring goldmine.
The Pacers and Wizards are the top two teams in the NBA in pace and both teams rank in the bottom five in defensive rating.
Another huge factor is the absence of Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton (hamstring), who is averaging 33 minutes per game and owns a 26% usage rate, so there is a huge void to fill.
Brown should be one of the players stepping up in his absence. He is dealing with a bit of an injury himself and didn’t play a ton over the last two games, but RotoGrinders has him projected for 28 minutes against Washington. He’ll be needed without Haliburton.
Brown sees a team-leading 4.3% usage increase without Haliburton on the court this season and averages 0.51 points per minute.
He has only recorded a 19% usage rate in five games this season, but he eclipsed this number in four of those contests.

Nemisth should be another main beneficiary of Haliburton’s void in the rotation. He gets a 2.7% usage bump and averages 0.54 points per minute without Haliburton on the court this season.
He recorded a 19% usage rate in nine games this season and scored more than this number in eight of them, including Monday when he scored 17 against Boston without Haliburton in the lineup.
RotoGrinders has him projected to play 28 minutes against the Wizards.
Due to the crazy game environment and Haliburton’s injury, both of these Pacers are in good spots.
Clint Capela (Hawks vs. 76ers) more than 10.5 rebounds
This is less about Capela and more about Joel Embiid not playing Wednesday night.
With Embiid enjoying another historic season and leading the NBA in scoring, there is arguably no players void that is more detrimental to his team.
Rebounding is an issue for the 76ers without him. Philly ranks 14th in rebounding percentage this season. Embiid has missed five of the last seven games, and during the last seven the Sixers have dropped to 29th in the league.

Capela averages 10.8 rebounds per game. Suddenly, this is a plus-matchup for him and hell also be less likely to get in foul trouble without Embiid on the other side.
Side note: This game has a huge 245.5 projected game total at BetMGM.
Its mind-blowing it isnt the highest number of the night (see Pacers-Wizards). A few years ago, 245.5 likely would have been a season-high total league-wide.
