NBA DFS picks: PrizePicks players forHornets-Pistons, Thunder-Spurs
The Heat and Hornets made a trade Tuesday that helped shake things up for Wednesday nights NBA slate.
There are plenty of juicy matchups on tap, so lets find some PrizePicks winners.
Miles Bridges (Hornets vs. Pistons) more than 24.5 points
There was some massive NBA news coming out of Charlotte on Tuesday as Terry Rozier was traded to Miami.
The Heat tried to land Damian Lillard all offseason, but it looks like theyll make due with Charlottes star guard.
The Hornets will play their first game without him Wednesday night, and they are still without Gordon Hayward (calf) and Mark Williams (back).
The matchup with the Pistons also helps Bridges a great deal.
These are two of the worst teams in the league, but the game should be competitive with a three-point spread. That means a lesser risk of a blowout and more minutes for the starters.
According to RotoGrinders CourtIQ, Bridges gets a 2.3% usage bump and averages a shade north of seven more points per 36 minutes without his current inactive teammates. That puts Bridges at 27.51 points per 36 minutes.
The Pistons play at the leagues sixth-fastest pace and own the second-worst defensive rating.
Even with Rozier in the fold during January, Bridges averaged 23.5 points per game. This number he needs to clear is at least one point too low considering all of the circumstances.
Malcolm Brogdon (Trail Blazers vs. Rockets) more than 5.5 assists
Brodgons role with the Blazers has changed frequently this season. Portland had a logjam of guards to begin the campaign, but it didnt really matter to them in a total rebuilding year.
Brodgon was also a bit banged up, but now hes healthy. Hes also rumored to be one of the hotter commodities at the trade deadline, so I am sure Portland wants to showcase him right now.
Teammate Shaedon Sharpe is also still out for Wednesdays game. Brodgons minutes should be solidified unless they get totally throttled by Houston, which is possible.
Portland Trail Blazers guard Malcolm Brogdon. APHowever, RotoGrinders projects him to play 33 minutes against the Rockets.
When Brogdon has logged at least 30 minutes in any game this season, hes cleared this number in 13 of 15 appearances. Hes cleared this number and hit 30-plus minutes in each of his last four games. Before this four-game stretch, he hadnt logged 30 minutes in a game since Dec. 29.
His new current and likely temporary role should be the main reason he eclipses this number Wednesday.
Jalen Williams (Thunder vs. Spurs) more than 18.5 points
Williams is turning into a star with everything coming together for him right now.
Hes logged five of his 10 highest usage rates of the season in January.
Not only is he playing well, but hes becoming a focal point of the offense alongside Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Chet Holmgren.

The matchup is fantastic against the Spurs, as Gregg Popovichs team ranks 26th in defensive rating and third in pace.
The Thunder have the highest implied team total on Wednesdays slate, and I expect Williams to do his thing in this game. This number is a point or two too low.
