NBA DFS picks Friday: Target LaMelo Ball, Austin Reaves on PrizePicks
After a long week, we have finally made it to Friday. Well try to kick off the weekend with some NBA winners on PrizePicks.
There are seven games on the schedule, which is a tad light for a Friday.
But there are still plenty of projections to choose from in the NBA PrizePicks lobby.
Here are my four favorite selections:
LaMelo Ball (Hornets vs. Spurs) more than 9.5 3-point attempts
Ball has played well in his first three games since returning from an ankle injury that saw him miss six weeks.
His minutes are slowly ticking upward, from 27 in his first game back to 31 in Wednesdays loss to the Pelicans.
We have him projected to pay 33 minutes against the Spurs, which should give him even more opportunities to score.
We know he loves the 3-point line, as weve seen him take 34 attempts over the last three games.
He draws a nice matchup at home against the Spurs, who are third in pace while allowing the eighth most 3-point attempts per game.
Austin Reaves (Lakers vs. Nets) fewer than 24.5 points + rebounds + assists
This one is pretty simple: Reaves has a much smaller role when DAngelo Russell is healthy and playing well, which he is on both accounts.
With Russell in the lineup this season, Reaves has averaged 14.3 points, 4.9 assists and 4.1 rebounds an average of 23.3 points + rebounds + assists.
This also should be a slow-down matchup for the Lakers, as the Nets rank 23rd in pace. Reaves has gone under this number in four of his last six games.

Simons has really struggled with consistency this season, but thats been the case for the entire Blazers team.
I like their chances to put up some big numbers at home against the Pacers, who are second in pace and 27th in defensive rating.
Shaedon Sharpe has been ruled out, which opens a path for Simons to play 38-40 minutes if the game stays competitive.
Hes racked up at least nine rebounds + assists in four of his last eight games and hit eight in another.
He draws one of his best matchups to date.
Jerami Grant (Trail Blazers vs. Pacers) more than 20.5 points
I like this projection for a lot of the same reasons I like Simons.
The Blazers are in an ideal spot at home against the Pacers, who have allowed the second most points per game this season.
Portlands team total is a whopping 8.8 points higher than their season average.
If anything, Grants individual matchup is boosted with Pascal Siakam now on the Pacers.
He has scored at least 21 fantasy points in three of his last five games.
